Beginning Quilt Beginning Sew

Wednesdays, January 10, 17, 24 & 31 from 10:30am to 1:30pm. This quick and easy, machine-pieced quilt top is a great introduction to quilting if you have little or no sewing experience. We will concentrate on the basic skills of rotary cutting our fabric, sewing a straight 1/4" seam, matching points and pressing seams. The last class will cover information and a demo on turning your quilt top into a finished quilt. This is a throw-size top; 59" X 77". Adults only please, since we will be using sharp rotary cutters. A sewing machine in good, working condition with maching operating manual required for class.
